Charlene Cowell, MPA Executive Director
Charlene began her career with BDFNC as a volunteer in 2007. As a volunteer and staff member for BDFNC, Charlene has assisted in the development of all BDFNC programs, retreats, and fundraisers. Charlene has been a speaker at various national meetings over the years. Charlene is the Chair of the Chapter Services Organization, which represents more than 45 bleeding disorders organizations across the US, and also serves on the Southeast Region Hemophilia Network Training and Technical Assistance Meeting Planning Committee. She has continued to find her motivation and inspiration from community members. Charlene has her undergraduate degree in psychology and a Master of Public Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill. When Charlene isn’t at the office, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, including her husband and furbabies.
