We are inviting women and teen girls for a SOAR Luncheon. Join us at the Big View Diner in Charlotte for a delicious lunch, and a presentation about menstruation — including causes and treatment for heavy menstrual bleeding, led by Chelsea Rivenbark from the ECU HTC. As always, there will be time to make connections with other women who share a similar bleeding disorder as you.
This event will be offered as an in-person program with a virtual option for those who cannot attend in person.
Registration is open to women with a bleeding disorder, girls 12+ with a bleeding disorder along with their mom/female caregiver, and moms of daughters with a bleeding disorder. We hope that you will join us to learn more and to connect with other women and girls who share similar circumstances.
SOAR is a program of BDFNC to provide support, outreach, advocacy, and resources. The SOAR Program is for all females with a bleeding disorder, including those diagnosed with hemophilia, platelet disorders, ultra-rare factor deficiencies, and von Willebrand disease, and carriers of any of these disorders (both symptomatic and non-symptomatic).
