Erin Otey, PT, DPT
Erin lives in Lexington, NC with her husband, Kevin, and two sons, Hayden and Declan. Erin graduated with her BA in Physical Education from UNC-Chapel Hill, her Master of Physical Therapy from Winston-Salem State University and her doctorate from Chatham University in Pittsburgh. Her work as a physical therapist has primarily been in the outpatient setting. She has also worked and volunteered in a variety of educational settings such as a public elementary school, an international school in South Korea, and a homeschool co-op. Currently, she homeschools Hayden and Declan. Shortly after receiving the diagnosis of hemophilia A for both Hayden and Declan, Erin and her family moved from Virginia to North Carolina in 2011 and joined BDFNC (formerly HNC) a few months later. Erin has served in roles including team captain of Wonderfully Made, mentor, and helped with community connections events.
