The BDFNC Family Festival and Walk for Bleeding Disorders is our twice-annual fundraiser and celebration of the bleeding disorders community. These are the largest gatherings for the bleeding disorders community in North Carolina so we hope you’ll join us!
The Raleigh Festival and Walk is held in the fall (typically October) in Morrisville. The 2024 Raleigh Festival and Walk was held on November 2 at Lake Crabtree County Park in Morrisville.
The Charlotte Festival and Walk is held in the spring (typically April) in the Charlotte area.
The 2025 Charlotte Festival and Walk is April 26, 2025 at Pineville Lake Park.
These are wonderful events with fun family-friendly activities. In addition to the bleeding disorders community, the general public is encouraged to attend as this event is a perfect platform to raise critical awareness about bleeding disorders.
Fundraising is easy and meaningful. Donations and fundraising are essential to sustaining the many programs and services that BDFNC offers to the community. For more information about how to get started, please reach out by phone: 919-319-0014 or email: festival@bleedingdisordersnc.org.
Be a hero! Volunteer! The BDFNC Family Festival & Walk is a big event, and we need your help. It takes a small army of eager volunteers to make the whole thing hum like a well-oiled machine. On the big day itself, there are tables and other gear to be unloaded and set up, staffed throughout the day, and then taken down and packed away at the end. There are cars coming in and out that need to be directed smoothly and safely. In short, there’s a lot to do.
Sign up today and be a part of the team. It’s fun work and your help will be much appreciated. You’ll even get a special T-shirt to show you’re a volunteer – and a hero!
