Join the Bleeding Disorders Foundation of North Carolina for a World Hemophilia Day Celebration! On April 17,  the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) brings the global bleeding disorders community together with a theme of  “Equitable access for all: recognizing all bleeding disorders”. The WFH vision of Treatment for All is for a world where all people with inherited bleeding disorders have access to care, regardless of their type of bleeding disorder, gender, age, or where they live.

Sanofi will lead a program, Generation Celebration! The community shares a connection that spans generations. The Sanofi “One Family Program” is a celebration of the bond that comes from living with hemophilia: young and old, near and far, where we are now, and where we want to be. Some of the hands-on activities will include:

  • Personal time capsule kits
  • Selfie stations and DIY photo frames
  • Wish ribbons for the global community
  • Space to share your story and voice

Let’s celebrate our community and continue working towards a world where everyone—with hemophilia A or B, von Willebrand disease (VWD), ultra-rare factor deficiency, or platelet disorder—has access to diagnosis, treatment, and comprehensive care.

Registration is closed. Please contact the BDFNC office to see if space is available.
