Teens! Hit the tees at Drive Shack for a fun afternoon with other teens impacted by bleeding disorders in North Carolina.
The day will begin with teens and their parents learning more about developing necessary skills for the coming years. Rachel Cooper Leal, Pfizer Patient Advocacy Liaison, will present Road to Independence: Teens and Young Adults with Hemophilia. She will share practical tips and resources to help teens and young adults find better balance in life. Emphasis is placed on independence, peer pressure, and other considerations specific to teens and young adults. All teens, whether personally diagnosed with a bleeding disorder or not, will benefit from this presentation.
After the program, head out to the golf bays to practice your golf skills and enjoy lunch! Drive Shack’s one-of-a-kind experience mixes a high-tech golf driving range and games with some of the best food in Raleigh!
This program is open to all teens and their parents in the bleeding disorders community, including those diagnosed with a bleeding disorder, and siblings or children of someone with a bleeding disorder. Teens may also bring a friend.
