The Bleeding Disorders Foundation of North Carolina invites you and your family to a Community Dinner Program at JohnnyLukes in Wilmington. Join us to build valuable community connections and learn helpful tools to help navigate school with a bleeding disorder. Morgan Cook, Takeda Community Education Specialist (CES), will share how students, parents, family members, and school staff can work together to provide a positive learning environment for students with a bleeding disorder — from preschool through college. Then participants can take part in a conversation about what’s worked for them.

Morgan lives with von Willebrand disease and is married into a family of bleeders. As part of Takeda’s CES team, Morgan is able to give back to the bleeding disorder community, by playing an integral part in educating and support patients on their journeys to live their best lives. It is as much a personal journey as it is for helping others.

The dinner and program are FREE to attend, but you must register.

Optional: After the educational presentation is complete, attendees will have an opportunity to speak with Takeda representatives about products and services they offer to the community.

PLEASE NOTE: Information about this company’s products and services is being provided as a public service only. As a non-profit advocate for the bleeding disorders community, BDFNC does not endorse any treatment products, manufacturers, home care services, or individual medical providers

Registration is closed. Please contact the BDFNC office to see if space is available.
