Join us for dinner and a presentation about gene therapy. Gene Therapy Research: Understanding the Science will provide an overview of the research behind gene therapy and the science of how it works in your body.
Stephanie Torres, Senior Account Manager for the hemophilia gene therapy division at BioMarin Pharmaceuticals, will lead the program. She has been involved with the hemophilia community for several years managing an extensive portfolio focusing on hemophilia A, hemophilia B, Inhibitors, and von Willebrand disease, covering hemophilia treatment centers throughout North Carolina and Virginia.
This event is free for BDFNC members and their immediate family members. Registration is required by February 11, 2024.
Optional: After the educational presentation is complete, attendees will have an opportunity to speak with BioMarin representatives about the products and services they offer to the community.
