Join the Bleeding Disorders Foundation of North Carolina and CHES Foundation for an amazing weekend!
You are invited to a new partnership between the Bleeding Disorders Foundation of North Carolina (BDFNC) and the CHES Foundation LadyBugs Program. The Blood Brotherhood and SOAR/LadyBugs Weekend is for men with a bleeding disorder, women and teen girls, ages 16+ with a bleeding disorder, moms of daughters with a bleeding disorder, and spouses/partners. There will be educational opportunities, networking, and fun activities that will build community, provide fellowship, and support.
There will be separate tracks for men with bleeding disorders (Blood Brothers) and women with bleeding disorders (SOAR/LadyBugs). Plus, we’ll have a session just for spouses/partners. Saturday night will include a fun activity for all to enjoy! Some of the sessions in the work include an infusion workshop, self-advocacy, mental health, and treatment options. More details to come in the upcoming weeks.
Registration is FREE! Included with your registration includes your hotel stay on Friday and Saturday nights, Friday dinner, all meals on Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Travel assistance is also available. Please indicate your needs when you register.
The Bleeding Disorders Foundation of North Carolina provides education and support for individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders.
The CHES Foundation LadyBugs program empowers women ages 16+ who are diagnosed with a clotting factor/platelet deficiency, care for someone, or carry any other bleeding disorder. The program’s goal is to assist women to find their voice when it comes to decision making about the health of themselves and their loved ones.
