Have you ever been frustrated by healthcare policies and felt like they need to be better for people with bleeding disorders? You are the best person to help change that!
Join us in Raleigh for the Bleeding Disorder Foundation of North Carolina’s (BDFNC’s) 2024 Advocacy Days. We will visit the NC General Assembly to talk with lawmakers about issues affecting our community. This may sound intimidating, but all you need to be able to do is tell your story, and we will help you with the rest. We will also make sure you never visit a legislative office alone.
As a statewide organization, we need people to join us from all corners of North Carolina, including the mountains, beaches, and everywhere in between. Wherever you live, come to Raleigh and represent the bleeding disorders community with your elected representatives.
Learn more about the legislative ask this year, focused on the issue of Prior Authorization.
Schedule
* Hotel accommodations are available upon request through May 20 for attendees traveling over 30 miles attending both the training & Advocacy Day.
BDFNC will have a booth at the NC Legislature to raise awareness among legislators and the general public about issues in the bleeding disorder community. We will begin with a briefing at 8:45 a.m. at the BDFNC booth. BDFNC members will meet with their legislators and staff in small groups.
Join us for the training dinner and visit the NC Legislature, or just come for the Legislative visits.
