The Bleeding Disorders Foundation of North Carolina invites you and your immediate family to join us for the Summer Community Retreat. We’re heading out to the beautiful Crystal Coast, also called the Southern Outer Banks. Enjoy a weekend to learn and share experiences about managing and living with a bleeding disorder.
Retreat activities will be at the Crystal Coast Civic Center, overlooking the Intra Coastal Waterway. Hotel accommodations are less than a mile down the road at the Hampton Inn Morehead City.
Accommodations and meals will be provided at NO COST to BDFNC families, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and donors. Travel assistance is also available. Programming will take place on Saturday and Sunday, concluding after lunch on Sunday afternoon. Included in your registration is:
- Hotel accommodations at the Hampton Inn Morehead City on Friday and Saturday nights.
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday
- Breakfast and lunch on Sunday
- All planned agenda and social activities
- Childcare and teen activities
- Gas cards will be available upon request for all attendees.

Blood Brotherhood (Men), HOPE (Families), and SOAR (Women) breakout sessions to connect and socialize
A visit to the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores is also planned.
Registration is required and will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. Please register early to guarantee your attendance. We are currently on a waiting list but please register as we typically receive cancellations leading up to the event.
