The Bleeding Disorders Foundation of North Carolina invites you to the Ultra-Rare Bleeding Disorders and von Willebrand Disease Community Education Day. This event is dedicated to community members who are affected by any ultra-rare factor deficiency, platelet disorder, or von Willebrand disease (VWD) to provide you with connections and education that will empower you to overcome barriers and manage your bleeding disorder.
We understand that you face unique challenges and need the opportunity to share experiences and knowledge is a safe space that is dedicated to you. By coming together, we can build a sense of community and belonging.
If you are unable to attend in person but still want to participate, we will have sessions available virtually on Zoom. When you register, please indicate that you plan to participate virtually.
There are a limited number of hotel rooms available at the Hampton Inn & Suites Chapel Hill Durham, with a discounted rate of $152 (plus taxes & fees) per night. *Please note, BDFNC is not providing hotel rooms for this event. While children are welcome to attend, please note that childcare will not be provided at the event. Children will need to stay with you for the duration of the day.
