Guillermo Sánchez, BA
Guillermo Sánchez is originally from Mexico and has been a member and volunteer for the Foundation since 2007. Along with his wife Abi, he helped to start the Latin Union Program to enhance the Foundation’s Spanish-language services. Guillermo is a psychologist who graduated from the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí in Mexico. He has worked with survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse, as well as in public and private institutions that promote, advocate, and guarantee the rights of people with disabilities in various areas such as health, education, employment, political participation, accessibility, and other public affairs. He currently works at the Raleigh Children’s Developmental Services Agency. Guillermo has been an advocate for the bleeding disorder community since he was a teenager, having been diagnosed with hemophilia A.
