The Bleeding Disorders Foundation of North Carolina (BDFNC) invites you and your family to join us for the first Latin Union Event of the year! Starting at 11:30am, join us at the Pitt County Senior Center for lunch and to learn from Yinell Nunez, Takeda Bilingual Health Educator, who will be presenting “Disease State: The Science Behind Your Bleeding Disorder.” Learn more about the basics of hemophilia: What is hemophilia? How does it effect your body? How can you detect a bleed? How do you treat and prevent a bleeding episode?
Then head on over to Wine & Design Greenville down the street for a interactive group painting activity! (No artistic experience is necessary).
This event, including lunch and painting, is free to attend, and gas cards are available upon request. Don鈥檛 miss out on this opportunity to connect with other Spanish-speaking community members. If you have any questions, please email Vic at v.gioia@bleedingdisordersnc.org or call her at 919-462-6220.
