Originally from the Philippines, Mj moved to Durham, North Carolina with her parents in 2003, and has since considered the Triangle area her home. She graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health (Roll Neers!). During her time at App State, Mj interned with the Children’s Council of Watauga County, where she discovered her passion for the nonprofit sector. She continues to refine her abilities and grow professionally, always eager to contribute to the causes she believes in. When she’s not at the office, Mj enjoys going to concerts, hiking, taking spontaneous road trips, and baking delicious treats!
