Join the Bleeding Disorders Foundation of North Carolina for a World Hemophilia Day Celebration! On April 17,  the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) brings the global bleeding disorders community together with a theme of  “Diagnosis: First step to care”. The theme highlights the critical importance of diagnosis, the essential first step in treatment and care.

Sanofi will lead: Redefine what’s possible from the “One Family Program”. One Family brings the bleeding disorders community together to celebrate World Hemophilia Day. This year’s program is a powerful call to action, igniting the community to redefine what’s possible in life with a bleeding disorder. This year, we’re inspiring each person to rethink their own perceived limits and explore a future of more possibilities. Participants will celebrate individual empowerment, challenge norms, and inspire the community. This program will empower the community to redefine what’s possible in living with a bleeding disorder and help shape the lives they want for themselves and the community. Some of the hands-on activities will include:

• DIY photo frames
• Instant camera Selfie Stations
• Conversations and connections

Let’s celebrate our community and continue working towards a world where everyone—with hemophilia A or B, von Willebrand disease (VWD), ultra-rare factor deficiency, or platelet disorder—has access to diagnosis, treatment, and comprehensive care.
