Raleigh Family Festival & Walk for Bleeding Disorders October 14, 2023 from 10 am to 12:30 pm

Lake Crabtree County Park

Registration Deadline: 10/13/2023 08:00 PM

“BDFNC provides our family with valuable education and opportunities to engage with a community of others with bleeding disorders. Without BDFNC, we wouldn’t know anyone else with a bleeding disorder.”

“BDFNC connects the bleeding disorders community to resources, support, and knowledge. This is especially important when a person may otherwise have no idea where to turn for the many challenges they face in dealing with bleeding disorders.”

Registration is now open for BDFNC’s largest fundraiser of the year! One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event directly support the North Carolina bleeding disorders community. This fundraiser allows BDFNC to continue offering and strengthening existing programs and develop new programming to support the community’s evolving needs, including:

  • Emergency Financial Assistance for expenses incurred in the care and treatment of a bleeding disorder as well as basic living expense emergencies
  • Medical IDs that can be lifesaving in an emergency situation
  • Advocacy for access to insurance and treatments for a bleeding disorder, as well as ensuring access to care
  • Education scholarships for education beyond high school, including universities, colleges, community colleges, and trade schools
  • Travel assistance grants
  • Grants to attend national bleeding disorders conferences and events
  • Programs that support men with a bleeding disorder, women with a bleeding disorder, teens with a bleeding disorder, families that have a child with a bleeding disorder, the Spanish-speaking community, and mental health
  • Education events throughout the year and across the state
  • Newsletters and other communications for the bleeding disorders community
  • Support for research into bleeding disorders treatments
  • And more

None of these programs and services would be possible without YOUR support. You can find more information and register to join us or donate on the Bleeding Disorders Foundation of North Carolina Raleigh Festival & Walk Website.

Registration is closed. Please contact the BDFNC office to see if space is available.
