Join us for dinner and a program that explores how to change negative thinking patterns during times of change.
Your Time to Thrive is a program about discovering new skills to help you think well, do well, and be well. For this program, we will be learning about Building an Optimistic Mindset. Attendees will learn how optimism contributes to resilience and has benefits in important domains of life, including relationships, health, and performance. Attendees will learn six optimism strategies to build an optimistic mindset. The program was developed in partnership with the Positive Psychology Center at the University of Pennsylvania and sponsored by Genentech.
Virginia Chandler, Genentech Hemophilia Clinical Education Manager (CEM), will lead the program. CEMs have years of nursing/clinical experience and are dedicated to being an educational resource.
This event is free for BDFNC members and their immediate family members. Registration is required by February 26, 2024.
Optional: After the educational presentation is complete, attendees will have an opportunity to speak with Genentech representatives about the products and services they offer to the community.
